NON Genuine VIM

In case a third party J2534 compliant VIM (Vehicle Interface Module) is used,  No support can be provided by Toyota for the VIM hardware,  implemented VIM software,  connection from the diagnostic tool (PC) to the VIM and communication from the VIM to the ve third party hardware has not been tested,  is not verified to meet required standards and specifications and may cause inconsistencies with connectivity and diagnostic functionality of GTS.  N.B. Please note that even tested hardware may cause issues - in such circumstances,  The third party VIM supplier must be contacted for assistance.
